NTT DATA appoints new digital health leader
TEXAS, UNITED STATES — NTT DATA has named Craig Hovda to lead its Health Plan & Life Sciences business. He succeeds Tanvir Khan, who remains Chief Digital & Strategy Officer.
Hovda is a seasoned industry veteran with advisory roles across healthcare, life sciences, public, and energy sectors. He was a founding partner of Deloitte’s Global Technology Services Practice. Hovda recently served as interim CIO for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Johns Hopkins Health Plans.
Khan has over 25 years of experience in IT outsourcing. He holds five patents in AI and automation, with four more pending. Khan previously led NTT DATA’s BPO, Infrastructure, Dynamic Workplace, and Intelligent Automation units. Before NTT DATA, he held leadership positions at Dell and Wipro.
NTT DATA CEO Bob Pryor said the company remains committed to strategic expansion in 2023, stating that “with Craig’s extensive qualifications, our HPLS clients will benefit from his leadership and build upon their success with our industry expertise.”
