PANDR to open new Philippine HQ, aims 700 jobs

ALBAY, PHILIPPINES – Business process outsourcing (BPO) firm PANDR Outsourcing (PANDR) is slated to move into a new and bigger office in the Philippines and is looking to add 700 to its headcount.
The new office is located in the province of Legazpi, Albay, set to open by the first quarter of 2024. Per its Linkedin page, PANDR estimates its company size to have 201-500 employees.
PANDR is subscribed to the Outsource Accelerator (OA) Source Partner Program, a powerful tool that helps BPO firms with marketing, sales, and business intelligence.
In an interview with OA, PANDR noted that their new office will have 357 seats in their production room, offering better space and allowing the company to add 700 new employees across both day and night shifts. The new office will also feature private suits for their clients, break rooms, training rooms, and a pantry.
The Australian company’s new office in the Philippines is almost 300 miles from Metro Manila, the archipelagic country’s largest metropolitan area. As a busy and bustling city, Metro Manila is continuously experiencing soaring rental rates, elevated standards of living, and severe traffic congestion.
A 2019 report by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) estimated that the country loses about PHP3.5 billion (US$62.7 million) a day due to traffic, which may rise to PHP5.4 billion (US$96.7 million) a day by 2035 if the country does not improve its transportation infrastructure.
PANDR says their new facility is not just for the firm’s expansion goals. It also creates accessibility for their employees and prospects, who would no longer have to migrate to the Philippines’ dense capital cities to make ends meet.
“By prioritizing the improvement of employee experiences through better work environments… PANDR can create a positive ripple effect that strengthens our brand identity and fosters sustained growth,” said PANDR service delivery manager Warren Dela Torre.
The opening of the new office comes after PANDR unveiled a revamped website and logo, representing a significant milestone in its ongoing effort to expand and innovate.
