Vensure acquires Canadian payroll firm, expands to North America
ARIZONA, UNITED STATES – Human resources business Vensure Employer Solutions (Vensure) acquired resource services firm Canadian Payroll Services (CPS), expanding its North American presence.
Vensure chief executive officer (CEO) Alex Campos welcomed the acquisition, noting how it will fortify their presence in the Canadian market.
“By combining the strengths of both companies, we are better positioned to serve in the Canadian market in more meaningful ways than each could individually,” he said.
The acquisition is expected to boost CPS’ employer of record (EOR) services and contract payroll and benefit offerings. Despite this massive purchase, CPS founder and CEO Afifa Siddiqui pointed out that clients will experience minimal changes to their day-to-day dealings.
“Businesses have depended on us to maintain compliance with HR-related regulatory requirements and have access to the necessary tools to support these areas. By joining Vensure, we are continuing to fulfill our commitment to continuously enhancing our clients’ experience,” she said.
CPS was founded in 2014 and has been aiding international firms outsourcing from Canada. Through CPS, businesses can smoothly expand their reach to North America without dealing with the inherent bottlenecks of scaling. CPS claims that its clients can hire a workforce from Canada without any setup costs or any need to register as a local business.
Founded in 2004 in Arizona, Vensure provides professional employer organization (PEO), payroll administration, recruiting and other solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises. Its services include payroll and benefits administration, workers’ compensation, human resources, loss control, and workplace safety. Vensure processes more than $135 billion in annual payroll.
