PH-based call centers earn SOC2 Certification

Philippine-based call center Executive Boutique Call Center (EBCC) and its sister company Select VoiceCom (SVC) announced that they have recently received their SOC2 Certifications.
In a press release, both firms said that this certification highlights their commitment to providing “a robust level of computer security and information technology” to their clients.
In addition to achieving the SOC2 milestone, EBCC and SVC also had their PCI and HIPAA certifications renewed, enabling the companies to continue handling the credit card payment information and private health information of their clients.
These milestones are in line with EBCC’s and SVC’s mission to provide customized BPO solutions to their various clients by following US and global standards while offering highly competitive prices.
EBCC and SVC CEO Mark Shapiro said, “Having completed our SOC2 certification, we can continue to expand our client base to include financial institutions and other service organizations that require a higher level of security and control.”
The two companies collectively serve over 35 clients from a diverse set of industries, with a staff nearing 1,000 employees.
SOC 2 is a voluntary compliance standard for service organizations, developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), which specifies how organizations should manage customer data. The standard is based on the following Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, privacy.
