PH healthcare workers’ COVID-19 vaccination starts Monday

The Philippine government targets to start the COVID-19 vaccinations of 1.4 million frontline healthcare workers on Monday, February 15, as it looks forward to the delivery of the initial batch of vaccines this week.
In an interview with Presidential spokesman Harry Roque, he said that the incoming first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines totaling 117,000 doses will cover workers included in the initial master list from hospitals across the country.
Roque made sure that the vaccinations will not take a month.
Previously, the World Health Organization said that 117,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will arrive in the country in the second or third week of February under the COVAX Facility.
