PH to bolster construction, IT-BPM industries in Expo 2020 Dubai

The Philippines is set to promote several investment opportunities in the construction and Information Technology-Business Process Management (IT-BPM) industries to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Middle East during Expo 2020 Dubai.
Alternate Commissioner-General for the Philippines’ participation in EXPO DUBAI Assistant Secretary Rosvi Gaetos said that the country’s construction services and its allied industries are among the “fastest-growing industries” in the Philippines over the recent years.
Gaetos added that the country’s “pool of world-class talents and skilled professionals” helped build its reputation as a “go-to partner” of foreign construction companies.
The Expo 2020 Dubai is expected to act as an ideal platform to boost the country’s trade, tourism, and investment industries, as well as enhance the Philippines’ relationship with the Middle East.
The event, organized by different agencies under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), will have a total of 60 participating companies and runs from October 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022.
