Philippines lags behind Asean neighbors in mobile experience ranking

The Philippines fell to the last spot in OpenSignal’s Core Consistent Quality report that measured and ranked mobile experience in the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) region.
OpenSignal, a global provider of independent insights and data integrating network experience, analyzed and compared the mobile experience of at least 30 million users across the ASEAN.
The report categorized mobile experience into video experience, games experience, excellent quality, core consistent quality, availability and time with no signal, download speed experience and upload speed experience.
Vietnam notably performed well claiming the top spots in categories that the analysis namely, video experience, games experience, excellent consistent quality, download speed experience and upload speed experience.
The Philippines on the other hand, sank to the bottom of upload speed experience, availability, core consistent quality, games experience, and video experience.
The report analyzed mobile service quality in Indonesia, Malaysia Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam.
