QTS expands European presence with Zentrys acquisition
OVERLAND PARK, UNITED STATES, and GRONINGEN, NETHERLANDS — QTS Data Centers, a provider of enterprise, hyperscale, and government data center solutions, has finalized the acquisition of Zentrys, a Netherlands-based data center management and operations company.
The acquisition marks a pivotal step in QTS’ European expansion strategy and follows its successful growth trajectory in North America.
Zentrys, known for its customer service and local market expertise, has been vital in operating QTS’ data center sites in Groningen and Eemshaven since QTS’ market entry in 2019.
The integration strengthens QTS’ operational capabilities and supports significant future growth opportunities in Europe.
Chad Williams, CEO of QTS, welcomed the Zentrys team, highlighting the seamless partnership and shared commitment to operational excellence.

The founding partners of Zentrys will join QTS’ leadership team to help expand QTS’ European footprint. Richard Kaak joins as Vice President of Business Development for northern Europe, and Kees Loer as Vice President of Facilities Operations – Property Engineering.
