Sitel set to recruit 1,000 employees for new multilingual hub in Greece

Sitel, the Nebraska-headquartered Global customer experience (CX) management giant, has announced plans to open its first CX / contact center in Athens, the Greek capital, early next year. According to Sitel Chief Executive, Laurent Uberti, the company has identified this as a strategic location and one that will allow it to support its clients and their clients across every stage of their customer journey.
The new Athens unit is to become one of the group’s key European multilingual hubs and will recruit staff with fluency in English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and several other languages. Expanding on the company’s plans, Pedro Lozano, Sitel’s chief executive for its Europe, Middle East and Africa operations, the new contact center is expected to create up to 1,000 new jobs. Sitel currently employs 75,000 people around the world, including about 23,000 in the Philippines, and specializes in delivering omnichannel experiences through voice, chat, social media and a number of other channels.
