Ohio staffing firm SSE acquires Pittsburgh IT recruiter B&V Staffing

PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES — Ohio-based Staffing Solutions Enterprises (SSE) has announced the acquisition of B&V Staffing, an IT staffing provider headquartered in Pittsburgh.
Expanding geographical reach
The deal, which took effect on April 1st, 2024, aims to leverage both companies’ strengths and expand their service offerings.
SSE, a veteran in the staffing industry with over five decades of experience, has built a reputation for providing comprehensive staffing solutions across various industries, matching top talent with great workplaces in Northeast Ohio.
With a strong foothold in Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland, the acquisition of B&V Staffing allows SSE to extend its reach into the thriving Pittsburgh market.
Founded by industry veterans Anthony Bucci and Scott Ventura in 2002, B&V Staffing has established itself as a highly specialized, retainer-based staffing agency in Pittsburgh. The company brings over 50 years of combined recruiting experience.
Specializing in technology, healthcare, sales, and other professional skill sets, the firm has played a pivotal role in shaping the success stories of renowned companies such as Duolingo and 3M, serving as the principal architects behind their recruitment initiatives.
B&V Staffing to be rebranded as BV staffing
Under the terms of the acquisition, B&V Staffing will operate as a division of SSE, rebranded as BV Staffing.
