Sykes tops Cebu inter-BPO sports league
While Sykes was clearly the big winner at this year’s Cebu Inter-BPO Sports League event – taking home gold in the men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and womens’ table tennis, and Groove Season 4 hip-hop dance contest, as well as a silver in the Mobile Legends competition – several other local BPO businesses distinguished themselves. For its part, ePerformax won both the Mobile Legends competition and men’s badminton, while Teleperformance took the mixed badminton award.
In women’s volleyball, Teleperformance took silver, while Accenture bagged bronze. Second and third place in the men’s volleyball event went to Optum and Concentrix respectively. Second to Sykes in men’s table tennis was Lexmark, with 1&1 Ionos the other medal winner. Over in women’s table tennis, Qualfon distinguished itself with a silver. The company notched up another in men’s badminton, leaving Dyninno with a consolatory bronze. In mixed badminton, while Sykes again grabbed gold, credible performances from Accenture and Teleperformance earnt them silver and bronze respectively. Meanwhile, in the Groove Season 4 competition, Teleperformance took silver and Concentrix were very worthy bronze medallists. With ePerfomax getting Mobile Legends’ gold and Sykes getting silver, this left Accenture with an e-sport bronze.
