Former Encora CFO joins TaskUs to lead finance operations

TEXAS, UNITED STATES — TaskUs has appointed Rishabh Khemka as Chief Financial Officer, filling a permanent seat that had been held on an interim basis since the prior CFO’s departure in March.
According to a company press release, Khemka comes from Encora, a digital engineering services firm backed by Advent International and Warburg Pincus, where he served as CFO and led financial integration following Encora’s acquisition by Coforge Limited.
TaskUs provides AI-enabled customer experience, trust and safety, and AI operations services to global technology, healthcare, and financial services clients.
Khemka’s 20-year career spans Wipro and PE-backed finance
Khemka brings 20 years of finance leadership in global technology services, including 18 years at Wipro as CFO of its Americas business and venture capital arm.
His expertise spans corporate finance, financial integration, and investor relations — developed across NYSE-listed Wipro and PE-backed Encora.
Khemka’s most recent assignment — managing Encora’s financial integration following its acquisition by Coforge — gives TaskUs a CFO with direct M&A execution experience as it scales its AI services platform.
“Rishabh joins TaskUs at a very exciting time as we expand our AI-enabled service offerings,” said Bryce Maddock, CEO of TaskUs.
Appointment ends four-month CFO search at TaskUs
After Balaji Sekar’s March 2026 departure, Trent Thrash served as interim CFO; Khemka’s appointment returns Thrash to his permanent role as SVP of Corporate Development and Investor Relations.
TaskUs has been accelerating its AI services strategy — repositioning customer experience, trust and safety, and content moderation as AI-enabled services for global technology and consumer companies.
Khemka’s track record spanning a listed global IT business and a PE-backed growth firm gives TaskUs financial leadership covering both public-company discipline and mid-market scaling.
“I am thrilled to join TaskUs at a definitive moment in its evolution,” said Rishabh Khemka, Chief Financial Officer of TaskUs.
TaskUs competes in the AI-enabled business process outsourcing market against Concentrix, TTEC, and Teleperformance — all of which have accelerated AI service investments over the past 18 months as generative AI reshapes how customer experience is delivered.
TaskUs has positioned itself as a specialist AI operations and trust and safety provider — a higher-margin niche within customer experience outsourcing that requires finance leadership with technology services scaling experience.
Encora’s acquisition by Coforge gave Khemka direct financial integration experience — a skill set that positions him well as TaskUs expands its AI services platform and considers inorganic growth.
