TaskUs lifts guidance as AI services surge 26%

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — TaskUs raised its full-year revenue guidance to a midpoint of $1.23 billion after reporting second-quarter revenue of $309 million, a 5% year-on-year increase, with artificial intelligence services growing 26% and now accounting for 20% of the company’s trailing twelve-month revenue.

Revenue beats guidance as AI services anchor growth

TaskUs, a specialist business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, outperformed the top end of its revenue and adjusted EBITDA guidance in Q2 2026, per the company’s Q2 2026 earnings report, while also reporting mid-teens growth from clients outside its largest account.

The company’s largest client fell from 26% to 20% of total trailing revenue year-on-year, reflecting continued client base diversification.

Full-year revenue guidance was raised to $1.22 billion to $1.24 billion, alongside free cash flow guidance of $110 million to $120 million for 2026.

“We delivered another solid quarter in Q2, outperforming the top end of our guidance for both revenue and Adjusted EBITDA. Our momentum was anchored by approximately 26% growth in AI Services and continued diversification of our client base,” said Bryce Maddock, Co-Founder and CEO at TaskUs, in the company’s second-quarter earnings release.

AI services post sixth consecutive fastest-growth quarter

Artificial intelligence (AI) services at TaskUs grew 25.8% year-on-year in Q2 2026, marking the sixth consecutive quarter in which the segment posted its fastest growth rate within the company.

The division now generates approximately $244 million in trailing twelve-month revenue, representing 20% of TaskUs’ total revenue base.

Headcount fell by approximately 1,200 employees during the quarter, primarily in the Philippines, as the company optimized its workforce structure alongside AI-driven service delivery.

“In the face of countless market headlines predicting that BPO customer care would all be automated, our customer care business is growing at an accelerating rate,” Maddock added.

The TaskUs results add to a growing body of evidence that artificial intelligence integration is accelerating revenue growth for specialized BPO providers rather than displacing their core services.

The company’s client diversification trend, with the largest account falling from 26% to 20% of trailing revenue while overall revenue grew, points to a more resilient and balanced base for future growth.

For buyers evaluating top BPO companies, TaskUs’ trajectory illustrates how AI service capabilities are becoming a key differentiating factor in provider selection.
