MANILA, PHILIPPINES — IT services company Tata Consultancy Services inaugurated its latest TCS Pace Studio in Manila, Philippines.

The cutting-edge facility is located within the company’s Panorama Tower office in Bonifacio Global City. It is designed to accelerate digital innovation in the Asia-Pacific region in collaboration with customers.

“Customers in the Asia Pacific region can get a hands-on experience of the art of the possible at the TCS Pace Studio in the Philippines,” said Dr. Harrick Vin, Chief Technology Officer at TCS.

“By leveraging the latest technologies and prioritizing sustainability, we aim to drive innovation that not only meets the needs of today but also paves the way for a more resilient, and sustainable future.”

Driving innovation with advanced technologies

The new TCS Pace Studio will showcase the company’s innovative platforms, which include TCS AI WisdomNext, TCS TwinX, and TCS Zero Carbon Platform. It is also equipped with interactive screens, state-of-the-art audio and video systems, and virtual reality (VR) headsets.

“TCS Pace Studio is the gateway to a world of possibilities for our customers. It gives them access to TCS’ extensive research and innovation ecosystem, facilitating the development of novel solutions across diverse disciplines, with efficiency and at scale,” said Vin.

The new TCS Pace Studio has been designed to help co-innovation with customers by leveraging emerging technologies in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics. The applications will aim to help enterprises create customized digital solutions.

Expanding global innovation network

The total number of TCS’ Pace Studios around the world, with this Manila facility, now stands at five. The other four are located in Riyadh, Sydney, Letterkenny, and Stockholm. The company also has seven Pace Ports around the world in leading cities such as Tokyo, Amsterdam, New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto, London, and Paris.

This extensive network combines TCS’s unique methodologies, frameworks, research, and intellectual property with a curated ecosystem of partners through its Co-Innovation Network (COIN). The result is a collective intelligence that enterprises can leverage to develop and launch innovative digital products and solutions rapidly.

Strengthening TCS’ presence in the Philippines

The launch of the TCS Pace Studio in Manila underscores the company’s commitment to the Philippines and the broader Asia-Pacific market. With the country’s skilled talent pool, cost-effective operations, and strategic location, TCS sees the Philippines as a compelling value proposition for global businesses.

“The Philippines is a key market for TCS, and we are elated to set up the TCS Pace Studio in Manila to continue delivering superior experiences for our customers,” said Shiju Varghese, Country Head, TCS Philippines.

“This Pace Studio will provide a collaborative space for clients to engage with our TCS experts, explore innovative and sustainable solutions, and unlock new growth opportunities, as we continue to be on the forefront of shaping the future landscape of business adaptability and innovation.”

TCS has been operating in the Philippines since 2008 and has grown to employ over 5,000 professionals. The company supports customers across various sectors, including telecommunications, banking and finance, real estate, and airlines.

TCS ranked #45 on the OA500 2024, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing firms. The latest index places the company five places higher than last year when it ranked 50th. It generated revenues of $29 billion in fiscal year 2024.
