TCS’ overhaul plans to bring US$50b sales before 2030

Asia’s largest software outsourcing provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking to overhaul its organizational structure to double the company’s revenues to US$50 billion before 2030
The Mumbai-based company plans to create specialized groups that will assist start-ups.
According to anonymous sources, the Mumbai-based company will create 4 internal teams – a business transformation group, incubation group, enterprise growth, and another aimed at new business models — to align TCS with the digital transformation and start-up boom in the business community.
TCS’s new structure is reported to be based on where its customers are in their business journey. For instance, the company factors in the varying needs of an established company and a newly-opened business.
The outsourcing giant is also reportedly planning to open a dozen innovation centers globally including the US and Europe.
Last year, TCS earned US$25 billion in revenues with over half a million of employees around the world.
