TCS recognized as leader in robotic process automation services sector
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been designated as a Leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Services by the Forrester Wave, a quarterly review of the sector by Forrester, a Massachusetts-based technology analyst. In its most recent edition, the review singled out TCS – the Mumba-headquartered-IT services, consulting and business solutions giant – for its technical finesse and structured approach to assessing processes / identifying opportunities. It also won praise for its ability to create automated factories, skill in industrializing RPA and investment in developing emerging RPA-adjacent technologies.
Commenting on the report’s findings, P R Krishnan, TCS’ global head of enterprise intelligence automation and artificial intelligence practice, said it came as apt recognition of the role played by the company’s Machine First Delivery Model (MFDM) in supporting customers as they completed their own Business 4.0 transformations. He also maintained the company’s holistic strategy and comprehensive portfolio of offerings had played a big part in its ongoing success.
In essence, the company’s MFDM-assisted Business 4.0 framework, one of its core offerings, facilitates automation across all its clients’ businesses and speeds up digital transformation. In addition, it deploys machine learning and AI to assist businesses solve complex business issues across industries and horizontals, allowing cognitive decision-making, while transforming and redefining business models.
