TELUS and Appian expand partnership for low-code automation
BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA — Digital customer experience solutions provider TELUS International (TELUS) and cloud computing firm Appian have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership to help firms simplify complex business processes through a low-code automation approach.
Appian’s Intelligent Automation as a Service
The AI-powered IT system features technologies such as AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation.
Appian’s low-code process automation platform empowers firms to build applications with a visual interface. This allows for a quicker development of applications, which could help firms in addressing skill gaps.
“Our deepened collaboration with Appian marks a pivotal milestone in our journey to further empower our clients with automation solutions that eclipse the typical effort-reward equation of software development,” said Monty Hamilton, Senior Vice President, TELUS International.
He added that integrating Appian’s low-code features has helped TELUS’ improve its suite offerings.
TELUS-Appian partnership streamlines business workflows
The tandem has helped media and telecommunications companies with services such as network design, configuration, deployment, and optimization.
The firm claims that this has improved business workflow automation in the company’s networks, resulting in savings of C$5 million (US$ 3.6 million) in 2023.
TELUS’ pact with Morpheus Data
TELUS’ agreement with Appian is the outsourcing firm’s most recent pact with a cloud company following its deal with Morpheus Data in February.
The two firms partnered to launch TELUS International’s Hybrid Cloud Management capabilities.
The software allows firms to manage operations through a single console and offers integration features to streamline day-to-day business operations.
TELUS ranked #34 in the 2024 Time Doctor OA500, the first objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
