Transcom opens T:Space office in Davao

Swedish Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider Transcom Worldwide Philippines recently expanded in Davao City with the opening of its highly-equipped satellite T:Space office.
In a statement, Transcom explained that the T:Space office will serve as a training, collaboration, and IT equipment deployments site to support their remote operations.
Additionally, it will be a “back-up workspace” for employees who are having service issues while working from home.
Transcom Asia Pacific Managing Director Kenneth Juarez said that the goal behind the expansion is to further access Davao talents, create job opportunities, and “have a positive impact” on the locals.
Juarez added that the “availability of raw talent” in the city makes it a “viable investment and location for Transcom.”
Transcom first launched its Davao operations through acquiring the outsourcing and consulting firm Awesome OS.
The combined remote workforce of both companies in the city has now reached 4,000 employees.
Juarez disclosed that they are looking into expanding in other places in the Philippines. Aside from Davao City, Transcom also has offices in Metro Manila, Iloilo, and Bacolod.
