transcosmos to open new BPO center in Japan
TOKYO, JAPAN — Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company transcosmos inc. announced that it will open BPO Center Sendai Itsutsubashi in Sendai, Japan in April 2024.
The center will have around 200 workstations and provide back-office services like administration, human resources (HR), accounting, procurement, purchasing, and sales support. It aligns with transcosmos’ goals of supporting clients’ business transformations and creating local job opportunities.
transcosmos has seen increased demand for its BPO services amid rising costs, carbon neutrality pushes, and labor shortages that have led companies to transform their operations. The new Sendai center aims to meet this demand and expand transcosmos’ footprint.
Founded in 1966, transcosmos combines technology and over 40,000 employees to enhance its clients’ competitiveness through services focused on sales growth and cost optimization.
Recently, transcosmos’s Korean subsidiary earned its COPC certification for the fifth straight year, underscoring its commitment to superior customer service.
