Unique launches metaverse-based recruitment firm
AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – Staffing firm Unique recently launched a new metaverse-based recruitment company called Uniqueverse.
Unique, a subsidiary of Japanese staffing giant Recruit, said that Uniqueverse is the first metaverse-based recruitment company.
“With Uniqueverse, the first employment agency with a branch in the metaverse, we are responding to the job applications of the future. Discover virtual worlds in the anonymity of an avatar, map out your talent and competencies in an interactive way and get in touch with our recruiters.” Unique says.
The metaverse is a hypothetical iteration of the Internet as a single, universal, and immersive virtual world that is facilitated by the use of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) headsets.
