Varanium Cloud to open new BPO center in India

MAHARASHTRA, INDIA — Tech firm Varanium Cloud has opened its second office and business process outsourcing (BPO) center in Sawantwadi, a local unit in the Sindhudurg district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
The new center aims to add 200 information technology workers to Varanium Cloud’s headcount. It will specialize in data accounting, background verification, and debt recovery, among other activities.
“Varanium Cloud wants to break the trend of individuals from small towns migrating to cities in pursuit of employment,” managing director Harshawardhan Sabale said. “We want to invest in local talent and infrastructure and contribute to the growth and prosperity in Sindhudurg.”
Varanium Cloud’s headquarters in Sawantwadi offers a suite of digital solutions to various industries, including educational technology, BPO, knowledge process outsourcing (KPO), and business management services through its platforms such as Hydra, Edmission, and Tug Digital
The firm also announced its plans to expand in the Konkan region through new data and educational technology centers.
In February and March 2023, the BPO company launched Hydra edge data centers in Sindhudurg and Mumbai. The data center is enclosed inside a shipping container and is meant to be small and portable so that it can be easily transported to any location in the country. Varanium Cloud launched its first edge data center in Goa in December 2023.
