VentureCount teams up with Tarsus to boost CFO services

WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES — Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider VentureCount Services forged a strategic partnership with financial consultancy firm Tarsus CFO Services.
This alliance is expected to boost both firms to offer comprehensive services from the CFO level to daily bookkeeping.
VentureCount is among the portfolio companies of private capital provider Everlane Equity Partners. It provides clients nationwide with full-spectrum finance, accounting, back-office, and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) services.
Meanwhile, Tarsus was established in 2002 by co-founders Paul Bertrand and Paul Burns to provide CFO, corporate development, and controller services to developing and middle-market companies.
“The addition of Tarsus cements our CFO service line for utilization throughout the U.S. and, in combination with our existing offerings, allows us to provide top to bottom coverage from the CFO level down to daily bookkeeping with numerous industries of expertise,” said VentureCount Co-Founder and Partner Alex Diaz-Asper.
Bertrand added that partnering with VentureCount’s existing platform will help Tarsus “expand nationally, bring our C-level financial expertise to new markets, and bolster our ability to provide comprehensive financial services as we continue to scale.”
Also commenting on the partnership, Everlane Operating Partner Harry Banks stated that Tarsus’ inclusion into VenturCount’s operations gives the latter a “presence in the Midwest market and marks a strategic move towards larger clients.”
“The VentureCount platform now has [the] depth of expertise from basic bookkeeping and accounting at early-stage growth companies to CFO and strategic M&A guidance in the middle market, allowing us to grow with our clients,” he added.
