Wipro appoints new Canada Country Head and Managing Director
Global IT consulting and business process services company Wipro announced the appointment of Kimberly Watson as Country Head and Managing Director for Canada.
Watson will focus on Wipro’s vision for business growth, localization, brand building, and significant transformational and modernization engagements with clients in key sectors.
Wipro Americas 2 CEO Angan Guha said that Watson’s “deep insights into the Canadian markets” will better enable customers to be successful in their transformation journeys.
The new country manager is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. In her most recent role, she was Vice President and General Manager for the Federal Market at IBM Canada.
This new appointment coincides with Wipro Canada’s 15th-year celebration. The company has made numerous investments in technology and domain expertise throughout its presence in the country.
