CAIRO, EGYPT — Xceed has renewed its Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard certification for the fifth consecutive year under PCI DSS v4.0.1, extending a compliance record across contact center and business process outsourcing (BPO) operations in Egypt, Morocco, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

According to a case study published by Zerosploit MEA, the renewal confirms that Xceed’s contact center infrastructure meets the current requirements for handling payment card data on behalf of global clients.

Five-year compliance record covers Xceed’s multicountry BPO operations

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification requires annual renewal and an independent third-party assessment of an operator’s data handling, storage, transmission, and access controls across every site and system that processes cardholder data.

For Xceed, a contact center and BPO provider operating five delivery sites across Africa, the Indian Ocean, and the Middle East, the scope of that annual audit covers more than 10,000 web-enabled workstations and more than 25,000 agents and specialists.

Xceed’s fifth consecutive renewal places it among the outsourcing providers that have maintained uninterrupted PCI DSS compliance through both the v3.2.1 and v4.0.1 standard revisions, demonstrating compliance continuity rather than point-in-time certification.

“Maintaining PCI DSS certification for the fifth consecutive year is a significant achievement for Xceed, reflecting our unwavering commitment to protecting our clients’ data and delivering services that meet the highest international security standards,” said Mohamed Aly Lotfy, Chief Executive Officer of Xceed.

PCI DSS v4.0.1 renewal validates updated payment security requirements

PCI DSS v4.0.1 introduced tightened requirements for authentication controls, phishing resistance, and web-based payment security that operators processing card data must now meet across all cardholder data environments.

By completing the renewal under v4.0.1 with Zerosploit MEA as its compliance partner, Xceed confirms that its multicountry infrastructure satisfies the current standard rather than relying on transitional provisions that allowed some providers to remain on the older v3.2.1 framework through 2025.

Xceed said the milestone reflects the strength of its security culture and its sustained investment in protecting the payment card data that global clients entrust to its contact center operations across five countries.

For companies evaluating contact center and BPO providers for payment-adjacent operations, a multi-year PCI DSS record is a verifiable compliance signal for operations that handle card-not-present transaction support, payment processing escalations, and customer account management where cardholder data is routinely accessed.

As enterprise procurement teams add vendor security certification requirements to outsourcing contracts, the gap between providers with verified multi-year compliance histories and those presenting first-cycle certifications is a material differentiator in regulated industry sourcing.
