IRVING, UNITED STATES — Qualfon, a global provider of omnichannel customer experience and business support solutions, has opened a new customer experience center in Irving, Texas, that will employ more than 700 people supporting a leading financial services company.
The center will serve customers through voice and digital channels and expands the company’s presence in North Texas, building on more than 30 years operating in the state.
Site staffs up for a regulated finance client
New employees will receive training to support customers in a highly regulated financial services environment, according to a press release.
Recruitment is focused on customer care representatives supporting customers by phone and live chat, and the company expects to add supervisors, human resources, IT support and other operational roles as the center grows.
“This investment creates hundreds of new career opportunities while helping our financial services client deliver a stronger experience for its customers,” said Alfonso J. Gonzalez, chief executive officer of Qualfon.
The positions will be based onsite at the Irving facility.
Free college degrees extend to families
Qualfon is extending its Rochat University education benefit to the Irving center, giving employees the chance to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees tuition-free.
The company also offers the benefit to eligible family members, which it says few companies in the industry offer.
“The Irving center will bring together a strong team focused on customer service, continuous improvement, and helping one another succeed,” said Mike Jossi, chief person and administrative officer at Qualfon.
The company said the expansion reflects continued demand for customer experience services in financial services and other regulated industries.
The site adds onshore capacity for financial services work that clients want handled close to home.
For buyers of customer service and call center support in regulated industries, a U.S. site with an education benefit is a recruiting and retention pitch as much as a capacity play.
Qualfon is positioned to pitch financial services clients on onshore delivery backed by staff development, a combination buyers comparing the top BPO companies worldwide will weigh.
