RSM US opens 100,000 sq ft Hyderabad office as India team grows

HYDERABAD, INDIA — RSM US Integrated Services India has opened a 100,000 sq ft office at Phoenix Equinox in Hyderabad to support its global capability center, after its headcount in the city grew nearly 150% in three years. Teams in the new office work across consulting, tax, assurance, technology, digital transformation, innovation and business operations.
Hyderabad headcount up nearly 150%
The office was inaugurated on Oct. 29, The New Indian Express reported on Oct. 30, citing a company release. The company said the expansion would help it build specialized teams and support more complex work for its global operations.
The workplace is designed as a technology-enabled, collaboration-first environment, with smart meeting and learning spaces and sensor-based room management. The building is IGBC certified.
“Hyderabad’s talent base and fast-growing technology ecosystem make it a natural home for our next phase of growth,” said Ashokkumar Prabhakar, India leader of RSM US Integrated Services India. He said the company would focus on developing specialized skills, creating career opportunities and enabling its Hyderabad teams to contribute to the firm’s global operations.
Bengaluru opens the same week
RSM also inaugurated a new Bengaluru office, the firm said in a press release dated Oct. 29. It said its India workforce has grown 135% in the last three years, and that India has grown nearly sixfold in less than five years across Gurugram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
“Our investment in Bengaluru and Hyderabad is not simply about adding space,” said Brian Becker, managing partner of RSM US LLP and CEO of RSM’s Transatlantic Partnership. “It is about creating the environment, skills and connections that allow our teams in India to take on more complex work and contribute more deeply to the firm’s future.”
Built for the middle market
RSM US Integrated Services India is a subsidiary of RSM US LLP, the U.S. member firm of RSM International, a global network of independent assurance, tax and consulting firms. RSM serves growth-oriented middle-market businesses and, through the network, has access to capabilities spanning more than 120 countries.
The firm said the Bengaluru and Hyderabad investments reflect its long-term view of India as a source of talent, innovation and business capability.
