TCS launches dedicated Microsoft unit to assist in business 4.0 transformations

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the launch of a dedicated Microsoft Business Unit (MBU), which will focus solely on helping customers deliver on their Business 4.0 transformation goals. According to the Mumbai-headquartered IT services and consulting firm, the MBU will make use of its extensive domain knowledge across a wide range of industries and its high-caliber global engineering team to assist its clients as they look to integrate artificial intelligence, automation and the cloud into their workflows in order to enhance the customer experience, reimagine employee empowerment, optimize operational procedures and promote innovation.
Addressing the need for the new unit, Krishnan Ramanujam, TCS’ president of Business and Technology Services, said it will deliver an improved experience and better outcomes for clients across the world by super-serving Microsoft technologies. Providing Microsoft’s perspective, Jean-Philippe Courtois, the Washington-based computing giant’s executive vice-president and president of global sales, marketing and operations, said its partnership with TCS would increase its ability help its client base transform and accelerate into the digital era.
