EXL, Direct Line Group extend partnership in insurance delivery
Operations management and analytics firm EXL announced that it has extended its relationship with UK insurance firm Direct Line Group plc to another five years. The two firms previously signed a ten-year partnership. EXL said it will team up with DLG to deliver better customer and business outcomes using a team of insurance experts, automation, and analytics solutions.
Steve Maddock, chief operating officer at DLG, said the firm is on an ambitious transformation journey of delivery technology and organizational change to develop a world where insurance is personal, inclusive, and a force for good. Paul Bone, head of outsourcing at DLG, said that to execute their goal of helping their customers buy insurance coverage suited to their individual needs and manage their coverage through easy-to-use and flexible digital platforms, DLG needs to partner with great firms like EXL, which combine deep experience in insurance with strong data analytics and technology capabilities.
According to Vikas Bhalla, executive vice-president and head of insurance at EXL, their extended partnership will allow them to help DLG successfully deliver on their digital transformation agenda and become leaders in the markets they serve.
