Jordan to bolster ITO, BPO sectors at the 2022 Web Summit

Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship will promote its IT outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing (ITO/BPO) industries at the 2022 Web Summit.
The event will bring industry players in the global tech industry and will promote the Kingdom of Jordan as an ideal destination for investments in the ICT sector.
Aside from highlighting Jordan’s leadership as an ITO and BPO hub, young Jordanian talents will also be highlighted, as well as the Kingdom’s competitive advantage, governmental support, and the incredible development of the country’s entrepreneurship framework.
The high-profile event will take place from November 1 to 4, and it is anticipated to welcome more than 70,000 tech professionals from across the globe. This includes a large number of investors and over 250 media outlets that will cover the most prominent events, sessions, and various activities.
The Jordanian delegation will be led by Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmed Hanandeh and includes a designated team from the ministry, more than half a dozen Jordanian startups, and six ITO and BPO companies.
Hanandeh said that the country is an “ideal environment for everyone from small startups to major multinational corporations. This is evidenced every day by the wealth of companies that choose to invest in Jordan and, of course, by the incredible achievements of Jordan’s young, educated, and driven ICT workforce.”
