Nostra strengthens Irish IT presence with Compunet acquisition
DUBLIN, IRELAND — In a strategic move to boost its growth trajectory, IT solutions provider Nostra has acquired IT firm Compunet.
Compunet has been a prominent IT service provider in Cork, Ireland for over three decades. Nostra, headquartered in Dublin consolidates its position in the Irish market with this acquisition.
The addition of Compunet to Nostra’s portfolio brings a wealth of experience and a robust customer base, enhancing the company’s service offerings across various sectors, including SMEs, multinationals, and educational institutions.
“With Cork’s rapid development as a key European hub, we are excited to invest in and foster the region’s innovative capacity and economic dynamism,” says Nostra CEO Kevin O’Loughlin.
This marks Nostra’s fourth acquisition in its aggressive strategy aimed at quintupling its revenue from €50 million (US$55 million) to €250 million ($273 million) in five years.
Nostra offers professional services, managed services, and cloud solutions, among others.
