Accenture, Google Cloud to provide joint AI managed services

NEW YORK and CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES – Professional services company Accenture and Google’s cloud computing services arm, Google Cloud, have teamed up to provide a suite of artificial intelligence (AI) managed services to aid firms in their operations and technological transformation.
The two tech firms announced the creation of a joint generative AI (GenAI) Center of Excellence (COE) to arm businesses with technological know-how and resources using Google Cloud’s GenAI portfolio.
Under the deal, clients can access Gemini, Google’s most capable and flexible model that can help businesses accomplish trivial or even the most complex tasks.
Gemini is a multimodal AI that can understand text, images, videos, and audio. A multimodal AI model also has improved accuracy and better data comprehension, which businesses can employ in their decision-making.
In addition, clients will gain specialized access to Accenture data and AI experts to assist them in optimizing and customizing their AI models.
Customers – especially software engineers – can also use Duet AI for Developers, Google Cloud’s AI-powered developer productivity tool. The model’s sequential and context-sensitive coding suggestions could accelerate software development.
Besides Gemini and Duet AI, clients can use a mix of large language models, including more than 130 models, through Model Garden on Vertex AI.
Google Cloud chief executive officer Thomas Kurian said: “Through our joint center of excellence, enterprises across industries have access to leading technical experts and engineers that can address their most complex business challenges and quickly begin creating value from Google Cloud’s advanced generative AI technology.”
