Capacity raises $54Mn for its AI-native CX platform

MISSOURI, UNITED STATES — Capacity raised more than $54 million in Series E funding led by Kathy Ireland to expand its agentic support automation platform for enterprise customer experience (CX) operations.
The round brings total capital raised to over $159 million. The company surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in June 2026, growing 20-fold in 3.5 years.
Unified AI orchestration layer serves 20,000-plus organizations
Capacity was founded in 2017 and now serves more than 20,000 organizations, ranking in the top 10% of the 2026 Inc. 5000 as one of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
The platform unifies omnichannel artificial intelligence (AI) agents, real-time agent assist, automated quality assurance, conversational intelligence, and proactive outbound campaigns through a single knowledge orchestration layer, using a “train once, use everywhere” deployment model.
“A few years ago at Capacity, we made a bet that companies would want fewer vendors. The success of that bet is evident as we continue to grow,” said David Karandish, founder and chief executive officer of Capacity.
Series E backs R&D and international expansion
The $54 million will fund research and development (R&D) across AI agents, automation, and enterprise knowledge orchestration, as well as go-to-market expansion and strategic platform integrations.
Kathy Ireland led the round as Capacity accelerates investment in AI knowledge orchestration to capitalize on a trend toward platform consolidation, with enterprises increasingly seeking fewer integrated AI vendors to reduce integration overhead and management complexity.
“As enterprise AI use cases increase, so can complexities. Companies need a way to expand what AI can do without having to rebuild each time,” Karandish added.
Capacity’s $100 million ARR benchmark, achieved across 20,000-plus organizations in 3.5 years of growth, positions the company as one of the better-capitalized standalone AI support platform vendors in the enterprise CX market.
For business process outsourcing (BPO) providers and contact center operators, Capacity’s unified platform model replaces the fragmented combination of separate AI tools for chatbots, voice automation, quality assurance, and outbound campaigns.
As agentic AI platforms consolidate the enterprise contact center software stack, Capacity’s knowledge orchestration layer offers a degree of vendor simplification that procurement teams in the BPO and customer experience sector are increasingly seeking from technology investments.
