Accenture boosts 5G training capabilities with Award Solutions acquisition
NEW YORK and TEXAS, UNITED STATES — Global professional services giant Accenture has acquired Award Solutions, a Texas-based provider of advanced wireless and network technologies training.
While terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the merger brings Award Solutions’ expertise in 5G, IoT, and cloud-based solutions under the Accenture LearnVantage umbrella, where it earlier acquired educational software provider Udacity.
Strategic integration
Award Solutions, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Plano, Texas, brings a team of 29 professionals to Accenture’s workforce of 774,000 employees. The company operates from multiple locations including Las Cruces, New Mexico; Branson, Missouri; San Diego, California; and Bangalore, India. With an annual revenue of $7.3 million, Award Solutions has built a strong reputation in the telecommunications training sector.

The acquisition strengthens Accenture’s position in delivering specialized training programs for the telecom industry. Award Solutions is known for its comprehensive training approach, offering in-person, virtual, and self-paced programs focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, and network virtualization.
