Accenture has announced that it will buy Clarity Insights, a US-based data consultancy. The firm is a leading provider of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning engineering capabilities for big enterprises, and a strategic partner to clients in different industries, specifically healthcare, financial services, and insurance, said Accenture.
The purchase will create 350 jobs and a robust portfolio of accelerators which can assist businesses to more quickly realize value from their data to Accenture’s Applied Intelligence business, the business outsourcing firm said.
Athina Kanioura, chief analytic officer and global lead for applied intelligence at Accenture, said Clarity Insights’ strong technical talent and deep industry expertise will help strengthen and widen Accenture’s ability to help clients scale AI across their businesses. Meanwhile, Neil Huse, president and CEO of Clarity Insights, said that with Accenture, they will be able to accelerate the shared vision for success and help more clients fast-track their journeys towards AI adoption.
