Accenture named as Asia’s best workplace, industry champion
Accenture received the Best Workplace of the Year and Industry Champion awards at the recent Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards (ACES) 2019 ceremony held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Best Workplace of the Year award recognizes Accenture’s talent training and development initiatives that allow employees to expand their skill sets while pursuing their passions and making a difference in business and society, while the Industry Champion award is for its innovation-led initiatives that help promote the digital transformation of its clients’ businesses and for adopting new technologies in operations to deliver business outcomes.
Lito Tayag, country managing director for Accenture in the Philippines, said the awards reaffirm Accenture’s commitment to build diverse talent and drive innovation to fuel growth in the digital age. Meanwhile, Ambe Tierro, who leads Accenture’s technology business in the Philippines and its artificial intelligence capability worldwide, said Accenture is an industry pioneer and trailblazer, and is helping businesses accelerate their adoption of new technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytics. The ACES Awards, organized by the MORS Group, are given to top-performing companies in Asia.
