While most BPO companies in the Philippines are only able to operate at a fraction of their capacity under the enhanced community quarantine recently brought into effect in some areas in the Philippines due to the COVID-19 coronavirus disease, Awesome OS has managed to continue operating at full capacity for all of its more than 95 clients.
Los Angeles-based company announced today the completion of a remote working plan for its more than 3,000 customer service associates across seven offices in Manila and Davao City. Roger Kuo, co-founder and CEO of Awesome OS, said they have equipped their customer service agents with modern lightweight laptops with LTE capability.
They have also installed VPNs on all laptops for data security. Additionally, the company is paying for its employees’ internet services.
