A number of business process outsourcing (BPO) companies in Davao City are participating in the Davao Inter-BPO League basketball tournament over the weekend. Among the participants are teams from Teleperformance, VXI Global Solutions, Focus Inc., Callbox, Sutherland Global, Demand Science, NXT BPO, Alorica, Offsourcing Philippines, Convergys, Ibex Global, and Conectys. City Sports Development Division head Michael Denton Aportadera said he was happy that BPO companies are involved in sports considering that their work culture is very demanding of their employees’ time. Aportadera is looking forward for bigger sports events in the future that can be participated in by BPO companies.
