IT-related professionals most in demand in Philippines
A report by professional network portal LinkedIn showed that Sales professionals are in demand in the Philippines.
In fact, according to Linkedin, the top three most hired professionals in the country are related to the following fields:
- Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and information technology (IT) industry:
- Sales professionals
- Software developers and customer service specialists
This reflects the demand for skilled talent and fast-growing sectors such as: BPO representing a range of industries including IT, outsourcing, education, banking and financial services
Here are the top 10 most hired occupations:
- Sales professional
- Software developer
- Customer Service Specialist
- Marketing Specialist
- Administration Manager
- Recruiter
- IT Support Specialist
- HR Professional
- IT Consultant
- Accountant
This boost is in the Philippine economy is attributed to the BPO industry.
The report was based on a study of more than four million professionals and over 19,000 active companies in the Philippines on LinkedIn.
