Call center training hub opens in Cebu
A new call center training facility has opened in Lapu-Lapu City to provide opportunities to those who want to work in Cebu’s bustling business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.
The Call Center Training Hub, located inside the Hoops Dome in Barangay Gun-ob on the island of Mactan, accepts residents who want to be trained. The trainees need to be at least high school graduates, though there is no other age restriction.
According to an announcement, the center can accommodate 25 trainees during a two-week training program that will be provided by BPO firm The Results Companies. After two weeks, the BPO firm will evaluate if the trainees are qualified to work as call center agents at its Mactan Newtown facilities.
