Cognizant takes 3rd spot in healthcare informatics
Global business process outsourcing (BPO), IT, and consulting services firm Cognizant is now the third-from-top healthcare information technology company of 2016, according to the annual listing of the top 100 healthcare IT firms. Cognizant, which operates global delivery centers in Manila and Cebu, was ranked No. 5 in 2015 and this year’s ranking marks Cognizant’s 15th consecutive year that it has appeared on the list. The annual HCI 100 ranks companies by size based on revenues derived from healthcare IT products and services. Cognizant vice president of strategy and corporate development said the company’s ranking demonstrates its commitment to the industry and its continued investments.
