Demand for strategically located BPO real estate

With office vacancy rates flying at 4% in the Ortigas-Pasig-Mandaluyong area and in the rest of Metro Manila, Technopoint Two that will be completed at the last quarter of 2017 are in demand.

While there is still a good supply of office spaces in 2017, the demand for strategically located buildings continue to be taken up by BPO companies and online gaming firms.

As an anticipation of spaces being snapped up by expanding BPOs, and online gaming firms, companies are reserving office spaces that are not yet completed.

Centrally located buildings have higher inquiry levels like Ortigas Technopoint Two which is located along Julio Vargas.

BPOs focus on keeping costs low as a means of staying competitive, given the huge numbers they employ. They are also very keen on providing their employees with a comfortable working environment.

Ortigas Technopoint Two is the second BPO-oriented facility in the vicinity. Ortigas Technopoint One received very good reception from the market. Ortigas Technopoint compound is accessible via public transportation from Quezon City, Pasig City and Mandaluyong City.

Most of the centrally-located Metro Manila business districts will be fully built up by 2018. Since huge properties are getting hard to come by in the heart of the metro, BPOs like Ortigas Technopoint Two are a dying breed, according to Barranda.
