DXC Philippines hosts Buildathon event

More than 130 of tech giant DXC Technology’s best and brightest from around the world have gathered in the Philippines for the company’s Buildathon event.
The two-week program is the company’s version of a hackathon – a sprint-like event in which computer programmers, software developers and other IT professionals collaborate intensively on specific projects.
It kicked off last September 10 at the company’s office in Taguig City.
The Buildathon leverages market-leading tools and technologies to rapidly co-create and digitize our offerings, and at the same time provides immersive on-the job training to up-skill our workforce.
While building in order to integrate the DXC offerings is the primary focus, a series of brownbag sessions will also be held covering topics such as overviews on Platform DXC, Jaspersoft, Dynatrace, Github, and Automation.
This is certainly a showcase of DXC’s commitment to building a workforce with digital-generation skills, and supporting customers in achieving their business outcomes as DXC leads them through their digital transformation journey.
