HCLTech to update State Farm’s IT operations

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES and NOIDA, INDIA — Global technology company HCLTech is set to modernize the IT service desk and infrastructure operations of auto, home, and commercial insurance provider State Farm.
In a press release, HCLTech said that it would leverage its differentiated portfolio and proven execution capabilities to accelerate the modernization of State Farm’s hybrid cloud environment.
This collaboration will also allow State Farm to focus on critical technology priorities while elevating IT support experiences for its customers, agents, and employees.
Under the deal, some State Farm employees will transfer to HCLTech to gain access to the tech firm’s global network and a wide range of opportunities across industries, including various training and development programs that are core to HCLTech’s culture of innovation.
“HCLTech was selected because of its reputation in supporting Fortune 500 companies,” said State Farm Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Ashley Pettit.
“Working successfully with them relies, in part, on the skills and knowledge of talented employees currently doing this work at State Farm,” Pettit stated.
Meanwhile, HCLTech Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Financial Services Srinivasan Seshadri said they are “thrilled to welcome the incoming talent and combine the companies’ mutual expertise..”
Seshadri added that they “are committed to supporting State Farm in its endeavor to serve its customers through advanced technologies and practices.”
