Helios raises $15.5Mn to transform workforce management

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Helios Global Payments Solutions Inc., an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered workforce management platform, has raised $15.5 million in seed funding to expand its innovative, localized workforce and payroll management solutions globally.
This funding from investors in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia will help Helios to achieve its goal of making it easier for companies to manage and pay global teams correctly across more than 125 countries.
New and innovative solutions for global workforce management
Helios offers a comprehensive platform that combines payments, compliance, and people operations tools, offering global payroll, payments, and human resources (HR) management solution in one product.
It has 17 modules of localized employee onboarding, global payroll, benefits administration, and PTO compliance tracking. This enables organizations to manage their teams efficiently and confidently from any location.
The AI-driven insights and automation workflows of Helios increase the efficiency and automate regulatory compliance so companies can concentrate on growth while Helios takes care of the complexities of workforce management.
“We launched Helios to create equitable opportunities for all businesses to compete in the global marketplace, which we believe can be done through strong AI, automation workflows, localization and compliance management tooling built into the foundation of HR and FinTech SaaS technology that creates flexibility for our customers,” said Rick Hammell, CEO and Founder of Helios.
“Our mission is to break down the obstacles in global team management and payroll while creating cost effective solutions that redefine what’s possible for companies navigating the future of work.”
Some of the services that Helios offers are similar to those of a traditional outsourcer, particularly with its Employer of Record (EOR) service that assists companies in managing their global teams by taking care of legal and compliance aspects, allowing businesses to concentrate on growth strategies.
Global expansion and partnerships
Helios is available in over 125 countries and is a vital tool for hiring and managing teams, and paying them. The platform is SOC2 Type 1 and ISO 27001 secure and compliant.
“Investing in Helios was an easy decision,” said Cristian de Dios, Managing Director of Aracan Energía.
“We see immense value in their technology and the clarity they bring to complex global HR and payroll processes by leveraging AI. Helios’ vision aligns with the future of work, and we’re excited to support their journey.”
With this new funding, Helios intends to enhance its capabilities through strategic partnerships for compliance, global payroll, and HR advisory services. These collaborations will enhance Helios’ product offerings and enable clients to easily gain access to a full suite of tools and services.
