HireSA launches AI job board for remote South African talent

- HireSA launched publicly on Sept. 18, 2026, after a private beta from May.
- It connects American, British and Australian companies with South African remote hires.
- HireSA claims hires cost about 70% less than comparable American staff.
- Employment Hero provides its employer of record and contractor of record services.
FLORIDA, UNITED STATES — Companies in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia can now hire South African remote professionals directly through HireSA, a new job board that pairs artificial intelligence (AI) shortlisting with a pricing model that carries no agency markup.
The platform targets operator roles such as sales closers, marketing managers, chiefs of staff and customer success leads rather than task-based virtual assistants.
HireSA pitches direct hiring without agency markups
According to a press release distributed by EIN Presswire, employers can post a job on the self-serve board and use AI Match to shortlist candidates, or hand the search to HireSA’s recruiting service for a separate fee.
Employers pay only while they are actively hiring, cancel once a hire is made and receive a refund if no hire happens within 30 days, the company said.
HireSA ran a private beta beginning in May 2026 before launching publicly on Sept. 18, and the company said founder Mathew Guergawi built it after years in remote hiring and high-volume sales, where he repeatedly saw agencies mark up overseas talent while paying those professionals a fraction of the fee.
HireSA has partnered with Employment Hero for employer of record (EOR) and contractor of record services, so companies can onboard and pay South African hires compliantly.
“We believe business owners should be able to hire South African talent on their own, without crazy agency fees,” Guergawi said.
South Africa sells time-zone overlap and cost
HireSA said South Africa’s UTC+2 time zone gives nearly a full working-day overlap with U.K. teams and a reliable 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Time window for U.S. teams.
The company claims employers hire experienced operators for about 70% less than a comparable U.S. hire, citing its own salary data.
Candidates are sourced through partnerships with EVERYONELY, Highlands Glen Academy and Greener Pastures, and many profiles include a short video introduction.
“South Africa is full of people who can run your business, close your deals, and think like an owner,” Guergawi said.
For buyers used to agency-managed offshore outsourcing, direct-hire platforms shift more of the vetting, management and day-to-day oversight onto the employer, even with an EOR partner handling onboarding and pay.
Companies that want that work handled end to end can still compare managed providers among the top BPO companies worldwide before choosing between a marketplace and a full-service partner.
