HR Path buys Payroll Experts Australia to add payroll compliance

PARIS, FRANCE — HR Path has bought Payroll Experts Australia, a Brisbane-based specialist in payroll compliance, remediation, workforce management and HR systems consulting.
The HR consulting and HRIS solutions group says the deal strengthens its ability to provide end-to-end HR transformation services across Australia and New Zealand. Payroll Experts Australia’s leadership team and employees will stay in their current roles.
A vendor-independent payroll specialist
HR Path announced the acquisition in a press release on Oct. 21.
Founded in 2009, Payroll Experts Australia has delivered more than 530 projects for over 260 organizations across Australia and New Zealand.
It is independent of any software vendor. Its work spans payroll compliance and audit, remediation, award and agreement interpretation, payroll processing, advisory and end-to-end systems implementation.
Brand and team stay in place
The business will continue to operate under the brand “Payroll Experts Australia, an HR Path Company.”
HR Path says keeping the team in place ensures continuity of service for clients.
HR Path said the firm’s specialist capabilities complement its existing HRIS technology and SAP SuccessFactors expertise.

He said the company will keep its commitment to “delivering exceptional, independent payroll expertise while exploring new possibilities within HR Path.”
Building out in Australia
HR Path has been active in Australia since 2019, following the acquisition of DDG.
It opened an Australian office in 2024 and acquired RKM Consulting in 2025, strengthening its HRIS technology and SAP SuccessFactors capabilities across Australia and New Zealand.
The deal follows HR Path’s purchase of SnapAI, a Paris start-up focused on AI governance and compliance, which OA reported on Oct. 15.
HR Path operates in 34 countries with nearly 2,900 employees, Staffing Industry Analysts reported at the time.
What it means for buyers
For employers in Australia and New Zealand that outsource payroll, the deal puts compliance and remediation specialists in the same group as an HRIS implementation partner.
