Ibex Philippines looks to take staff numbers to beyond 10,000

Ibex has announced plans to recruit some 1,000 staff members for its newly-established services center in Alabang, a rapidly expanding commercial hub in Muntinlupa, the southernmost city in the Metro Manila region. In the first instance, the Washington DC-headquartered offshore business process outsourcing (BPO) provider will look to fill 850 of the 1,000 seats at its new facility by the end of this month. This, however, will just be the beginning of the company’s Philippines’ recruitment programme, with plans already in place to hire a total of 2,700 new employees over the next three months as two further centers come online, according to Ibex CEO Bob Dechant.
Once these additional facilities are fully staffed, Ibex’s total staff complement in the country is expected to exceed 10,000. Explaining this move to expand, Dechant said it was all down the company’s engaged and high-performing workforce, as well as its ability to provide broader solutions than many rival BPO operations. Outlining the company’s current offer, he said it now provides advanced digital market services, state-of-the-art BPO operations and a strong customer experience management platform, all of which are geared to increasing revenue, reducing costs and boosting customer loyalty for its growing client base. At present, Ibex operates in seven countries across 30 sites, while specialising in the delivery of onshore, near-shore and offshore BPO solutions.
