Infosys, TCS in forbes best regarded firms list
Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) are among 17 Indian companies included in the latest World’s Best Regarded Companies list compiled by Forbes. IT giant Infosys is third in the list, jumping from 31st in 2018. Forbes said Infosys’s leading position marked an Asian invasion in the rankings. Meanwhile, TCS is in the 22nd position. The US leads the list with 59 companies, followed by Japan, China and India, which together have 82 firms in the list, an increase from 63 last year.
According to Forbes, almost half of the 250 best regarded firms are based in Asia, making it the most dominant continent. The companies were ranked based on trustworthiness, social conduct, the strength of their products and services, and how they fare as employers. Forbes teamed up with Statista to survey 15,000 participants from over 50 countries in order to produce the list.
