ISG honors Accenture, HCLTech, TCS for customer service excellence

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — Technology research and advisory firm Information Services Group (ISG) recently presented service providers Accenture, HCL Technologies, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with the 2023 ISG Star of Excellence Awards.
The awards recognized the three companies for demonstrating the highest standards of customer service excellence over the past year based on direct customer feedback.
The providers were honored at the ISG Sourcing Industry Awards Gala Dinner in London, where ISG announced the results of its annual customer experience benchmarking program.
Through ongoing surveys, ISG asks enterprises to rate their satisfaction across six categories: business continuity, collaboration, execution, governance, innovation, and culture.
Out of over 2,000 providers evaluated this year, Accenture, HCLTech, and TCS earned the top cumulative scores across regions, industries, and technologies.
“This valuable feedback helps providers see themselves through the eyes of their customers and deepens ISG’s understanding of providers to support our research and sourcing advisory services,” said Paul Gottsegen, President of ISG Research and Client Experience.
“We are pleased to see the CX scores of providers are rising, even as clients’ expectations are increasing, especially around innovation and thought leadership,” Gottsegen added.
In addition to the overall ISG Star of Excellence Award winners, the ceremony recognized:
- Hexaware as the universal winner for emerging technology
- Genpact receiving the global top provider award; Microland as the top provider for the Americas; Stefanini for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA); and TCS for Asia Pacific
- Persistent Systems as the universal industry winner
- The top ITO provider for each technology area, with HCLTech named ITO universal technology winner
- The top BPO provider by service area, with HCLTech named the universal BPO winner.
HCLTech received six total awards, the most of any provider. TCS and Persistent Systems followed with four awards each.
