Filipinos to overcome AI because of ‘heart to serve’
According to Jack Ma, with the Filipinos’ heart to serve, Filipinos can weather the automation wave that can potentially displace hobs in the manufacturing industry.
“Filipino people have the best heart (for) service. It takes centuries to build up the heart to serve the people. The Philippines has great talent, great capabilities. No other country in the world has that,” Ma said.
The Philippine outsourcing industry, which is a key driver of jobs growth, is reorganizing its workforce to adapt to the use of artificial intelligence.
